BikeThere! 2025 rolls through Garfield County with hundreds of riders
|
On June 25, 350 riders across Garfield County in Parachute, Rifle, Silt, New Castle, Glenwood Springs, and Carbondale joined the movement to celebrate biking wherever the day took them.
Bikers enjoyed free food, bike tune-ups from local bike shops, kids' activities like bike decorating and rodeos, and prize giveaways.
This year's BikeThere! event was more than just a ride—it’s a movement to encourage biking anywhere—to the library, bus stop, grocery store, a friend's house, or just for fun.

Rethinking how we get around (together)
|
"We’re all familiar with the experience of sitting in traffic," writes Emily Williams in our latest GCE blog post.
This August, GCE is supporting the launch of Two Rivers Connect—a campaign in partnership with CDOT, RFTA, and the City of Glenwood Springs—to encourage residents, workers, and visitors to rethink how they move through the Colorado River and Roaring Fork valleys.
The challenge: commit to one day a week of biking, busing, walking, carpooling, or remote work. Stay tuned for more information.
