This Earth Day, we give thanks to you

Earth Day is this Saturday. For us at Garfield Clean Energy, this is an opportunity to celebrate everyone who is doing their part to make our communities better through their energy choices.

If you're one of the more than 1,500 Garfield County residents who have made home energy upgrades through GCE's programs, thank you. You’ve helped keep over 3,600 tons of carbon emissions out of the air and you’re contributing to our county’s energy independence. What’s more, you’ve collectively saved yourselves $650,000 on energy costs and injected more than $7 million into the local economy. Read more...

New program offers discounted e-bikes to promote clean mobility

CLEER – the local clean-energy nonprofit that manages Garfield Clean Energy's programs – has announced a new program to make e-bikes affordable to lower-income residents, as part of a countywide strategy to increase clean mobility and reduce pollution.

The eBikeThere Garfield County program is offering 40 new e-bikes to income-qualified residents at the highly discounted price of $150. The deadline to apply is May 5, but don't wait – CLEER has already received over 200 applications. Read more...

Garfield Clean Energy will have a table at New Castle's Earth Day celebration this Saturday, April 22. It will be next to City Market from 11 to 2 – come on by and say hi!

We'll also be at Carbondale Dandelion Day on Saturday, May 13 10 am-5 pm.
