Garfield Clean Energy and CLEER are teaming up to bring the Experience Electric Road Show to the Glenwood Springs Rec Center on June 4. This will be the fourth and final stop of the road show, after dates in Grand Junction, Steamboat and Eagle.
Come kick some tires and learn about EVs (and e-bikes)! There will be new and used cars to drive, EV owners and dealer reps on hand to answer your questions, and local clean-energy nonprofits giving individual advice on how to take maximum advantage of rebates and other incentives. It's all free, including music and childcare! (See sidebar/below for details.)
EVs are for everybody now! Tax credits and rebates make them increasingly affordable. They’re fun to drive, don’t generate polluting tailpipe emissions, and are significantly cheaper to own and operate than conventional vehicles. The range of models on the market is becoming steadily better, with a number of all-electric cars, SUVs, crossovers and trucks now available. EV charging is easier than ever, as the network of charging stations is expanding rapidly.
