#BikeThere

Bike to Work Day offers inspiration and camaraderie in Glenwood Springs & Carbondale

Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned bike commuter, here’s your chance to get off on the right foot this summer. Join your fellow cyclists on Bike to Work Day, June 22, for free snacks, swag and camaraderie!

Together with our local partners (see below), we’ll have tables set up in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale during the morning commute. Come snag coffee and donuts, learn about safe bike routes, and give feedback on what’s working or not working about your two-wheeled travels.

While you’re there, be sure to enter to win a Magnum Cosmo S e-bike ($2,000 value), courtesy of Colorado E-Bikes of Glenwood Springs! Additional prizes include a half-day raft trip with Defiance Rafting and a gift certificate from Defiance Cyclery.

We at Garfield Clean Energy are all about biking as an alternative to driving. Biking reduces traffic congestion, pollution, fossil fuel dependence, noise and road wear – plus it’s great for your health.

Try biking to work on June 22, and see if it doesn’t inspire you to do it regularly!
