#BikeThere

It’s Colorado Bike Month, and Garfield County is celebrating with FREE events throughout the county!

Welcome to BikeThere Garfield County, your Bike Month celebration hub! Our goal is to help new and soon-to-be cyclists feel safe and confident riding their bikes in their towns and around the county, and to encourage seasoned cyclists to spend more time on their bikes for fun and function.

BikeThere will feature a series of fun, family-friendly events throughout the month of June:

Thanks to our lead event sponsors:

BikeBingo - on your own time

Celebrate Bike Month by having new two-wheeled experiences on your own time. Mark them on your BikeBingo card to be entered to win prizes - the more bingos you score, the more chances to win!

Download the card on your phone and fill it out with your phone's edit option. (You can also pick up a paper card at Garfield County libraries.) Email your filled card to zpevec@cleanenergyeconomy.net and/or post a photo of it with #BikeThereGarCo on Facebook or Instagram. The deadline for entries is June 25, and winners will be announced at the Bike Expo on June 26 (you don't need to be present to win).

BikeTown Passport - on your own time

Support local businesses while on your bike! Download and print a BikeTown Passport using the links and get stamps (and discounts!) at each of the businesses listed. (You can also pick up a paper card at Garfield County libraries.) Then, when your passport is full, send a picture of it to zpevec@cleanenergyeconomy.net and/or post a photo of you at a participating business with #BikeThereGarCo on Facebook or Instagram to be entered to win prizes. Winners announced at the June 26 BikeExpo (you don't need to be present to win).
