Are you a Glenwood Springs Electric residential customer? If so, you can now take advantage of killer rebates on high-efficiency heat pumps!
Glenwood Springs Electric already offers some pretty solid incentives, but now its wholesale electric power supplier, the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska, is sweetening the pot.
The new, combined rebates will cut your price of installing a home heat pump system by $1,400-4,000, depending on the type of system.
Heat pumps can replace heating, cooling or domestic hot water systems. They’re more efficient and cost less to run than conventional gas appliances, and because they run on electricity, they cause fewer emissions that contribute to climate change. In addition, heat pumps can provide both heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. You can learn lots more about them in this webinar.
Think you might go for a heat pump system? Email us or call us (970-704-9200 x 1104) first! Let us help you figure out what you qualify for and how to proceed before you make any commitments.
By the way, Glenwood Springs Electric also offers rebates on other energy-efficient devices and measures such as insulation, LED lighting, programmable thermostats, solar PV systems and e-bikes. Details and application forms are at the Glenwood Springs Electric page of this website.
CLEER (Clean Energy Economy for the Region) administers the Glenwood utility’s rebate program, as well as the programs of Garfield Clean Energy.
